Day of Surgery

Today is the day. It is 5:10 a.m. I am getting ready to head to the hospital. I have to be there at 6. The hysterectomy is scheduled for 8:00.
If you all are lucky, I will have photos of my uterus to post by this time next week!!! I am going to very nicely ask the nurse to take some photos for me. If they are grossed out by the request, then I will ask them to save the uterus so I can photograph it myself.
See you all in about a week!

Diningroom remodeling project

We added cabinets to the East wall. We have some finishing up to do. The narrow hole on the left bottom needs a door. This is where I am storing the cutting boards and baking stones. The curtains need hemmed now that the cabinets are under it. I am looking for some unique door pulls. The window air conditioning unit is there to add listening enjoyment to our fine dining experience.

At the pool

Our goal here was for the fly to land on her nose. We waited a long time for it to happen. when it finally happened she shook her head real fast without even giving it a second thought. So we did not get the shot we wanted, but these are pretty good. The fly ended up stinging her, so these were the only good shots we got.

My feet. Need a new paint job. My sister would find this repulsive.

First Western Horse Show

This is the first time I have ever attended a Western Horse Show. It was fun and I learned a lot. I never am around horses because I am allergic to them. My eyes swell shut and I have had to go to the hospital when I was younger.

I did have problems with my eyes again and so did Emma. I think she may be allergic to them also. All in all we had a great time. The contestants put a lot of hard work into their shows.
