BRIDGE AT RT.40 AND HOPEWELL NATIONAL ROAD

We believe this bridge was rebuilt after the flood of 1912-1913. It is located west of Zanesville. Probably part of the Old National Road.

Nice photographs of the so called "Reciprocity Bridge". You are correct - it was part of the old National Road. It still seems to be in pretty good shape - perhaps some local organization will save and restore it.

I've linked to this over on my blog.
